My Warrior Esquire, which I recently upgraded to an ai9, was a very defensive hockey stick. It is very stiff and heavier then the usual stick, and you have to go more along to toe up the curve to get a good solid shot. It is a very good stick-handling stick once you get used to it. I liked the draper curve, it gave me very good stick control and toe drags. I also got a 75 flex, but I am not very strong and it feels like more of an 80-85. All in all this was a very good stick for stick-handling and defense, but could be a bit more shoot-able (for lack of a better word) and be a little bit lighter. Read more...
